Annia Park Hotel Venice Airport

Needed a hotel close to the Marco Polo Airport in Venice for an early flight and came across this place. Was originally under the impression that my early flight would require me to walk but they do have a shuttle bus that starts at 430am for $5 euro per person. I wasn't expecting such a cool spot. Lobby area has a bar, fireplace with comfortable couches. Room is a duplex, with a spiral staircase leading to a sitting area for lounging. Features a very spacious bathroom, bedroom, and desk area. Had dinner in their dining room, amazing service but felt the food itself was extremely salty when it didn't need to be but that could just be me. Service is great and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I stayed here in June for a night and had a wonderful time! The room was nice and cozy and had a private balcony which was perfect for relaxing, and the staff was so kind, helping however they could. I picked this hotel as I wanted a hotel that had a shuttle to the airport and a restaurant and I’m so glad I did because the food was delicious as well! My waiter was friendly and knew the menu inside and out, giving me a dessert suggestion (which I ended up enjoying and upon my request) based on what I had for dinner as he said it would help balance the taste better from the other food I had for my appetizer/entree and he was right! Definitely five stars and would recommend to anyone staying near Venice.

Location- 25 minutes walk in the cold/rain maybe longer. It is far and you have to cross a fast traffic circle. Not too safe Shuttle service: charges €10 round trip per person. I find this to be a little too much when a one night stay was over €180 per night. Rooms: our room had no heat or hot water. This was in the middle of December and brushing your teeth and washing your hands with ice cold water was not pleasant. We had to sleep with our coats on since the heater was not working. Location is not ideal. Please read the comments below before booking. I find it hard to believe that the positive reviews were written by real guest and not the hotel staff themselves. This hotel is on the other side of a highway. It is not within walking distance as they say it is. If you walk it will be a long haul with luggage’s. You have to cross the highway very dangerous. Shuttle does not show up unless you call them and there’s not an assigned area they tell you to meet them and at parking 2 where cars are parked. There’s no signs for shuttle pick up. We addressed our issues with the arrogant young dark hair guy that seats at the front desk. He was rude and not interested in what we had to say. I think this used to be someone’s ranch that got converted into a hotel. The rooms are very strange and the beds weren’t comfortable at all. There is nothing close to this hotel. No restaurants nearby and their restaurant was closed when we arrived from our 5 hour flight. The next morning we got breakfast and it looked like leftovers from the day before.
